The building of Madagascar gives visitors of Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo a chance to learn more about an area of the world that is considered one of the top hotspots for biodiversity because it is home to the largest number of endemic, only found in this country, species and plant life.  Madagascar has a large number of critically endangered species due to habitat loss and hunting.  Throughout the building, each exhibit will be linked to ongoing projects in Madagascar.  There will also be educational information on the conservation efforts.  Madagascar is Omaha's Henry Dooly Zoo's effort to help our visitors become better acquanited with one of the premier conservation partnerships in the world.

 A membership offers unlimited Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo admission for two adults and dependent children or grandchildren 20 years of age and under from one address through March 31, 2011. One valid cardholder must be present for the membership to be valid. Card is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Wildlife Safari Park no longer accepts personal checks.  The only forms of payment accepted are Travelers checks, Cashier checks, Money orders, Business/Company/School checks, cash and credit cards (Discover, American Express, MasterCard and Visa).  The only exception to this policy is for the purchase of Omaha's Zoo memberships at Guest Services.
